What is your greatest research achievement? Ongoing learning of research skills

Why and how did you get involved in research? Passion to improve and contribute in the profession

How do you balance research/work/family life? By being committed and working hard and using other skills to retain wellbeing (e.g. NLP and mBIT)

How did you find a mentor/supervisor? Through academic colleagues

What was your supervisor’s best advice? You can do it

What do you enjoy most about being involved in research? Finding the unexpected

What has been your biggest challenge or barrier to being involved in research? Funding

What one piece of advice would you give other researchers? Enjoy it and keep an open mind to what you might find – if you already know the answer don’t waste your time studying it

I also have years of involvement with professional, international peer-reviewed publications which has been extremely helpful in my learning journey.
