Why did you decide to get involved in research?: I like to keep updated with the latest advances in radiation oncology
Who encouraged you to get involved in research and who do you go to for advice when you need it? Myself, I needed a challenge and for me, that was to continue with post grad study
What sort of activities/studies have you been involved in? (e.g. data collection, planning, supportive care/clinical research) data collection for an in house pelvic tilt study, bolus improvements in radiation therapy.
What do you enjoy most about being involved in this/these research activities? new learning experiences, also sharing knowledge gained with my peers.
What has been your biggest challenge or barrier to being involved in research? Time!! my work have been supportive with my post grad but trying to fit this around my daily staff duties and home life, this is always going to be a challenge
What one piece of advice would you give other researchers who have never been involved in research before? Pick a subject you love! keep persavering you will get there in the end.
