Why did you decide to get involved in research? Undertaking post grad studies combined with questions and opportunity

What was/is your supervisor/mentor’s best advice? Try and keep your focus on the objective, it is easy to get distracted particularly with qualitative research
What do you enjoy most about being involved in research? Finding out what people think, and broadening my own thinking as a result
What has been your biggest challenge or barrier to being involved in research? Finding the balance with work

Be flexible and open minded enough to determine the best way to answer your research question, and also be prepared for an unexpected answer
