Why did you get decide to get involved in research? To try and propel the profession

What sort of activities/studies have you been involved in? Data collection, surveys and focus groups. Research planning. Mostly qualitative research.
What do you enjoy most about being involved in these research activities? Data collection, surveys and focus groups. Research planning. Mostly qualitative research
What has been your biggest challenge or barrier to being involved in research? Navigating the funding landscape has been bit difficult. Sometimes the data collection can be extremely diffciult especially if doing a two fold round of collection, recruiting and maintaining participants interest.
What one piece of advice would you give other researchers who have never been involved in research before? Be prepared to be brave, it sometimes can take a lot out of you to recruit participants and you need to put yourself out there.
